Fill-up treatments, wrinkle removal

As the skin ages, wrinkles appear on the face and neck; the appearance of wrinkles varies by individual. Excessive sun bathing, solarium, weight loss diets and some diseases along with ageing may intensify wrinkling.
Less strain and risks, minimal possibility of side effects and complications- are the advantages of the wrinkle filling, compared to the unwrinkling surgery. However surgical wrinkle removals (with laser, or endoscope) result in a more durable outcome, they are more strainful, risky and more complex procedures. Facial surgery may be delayed by wrinkle fill up.
These procedures don’t erase wrinkles, wrinkles are filled up!  Destruction of elastic and collagen fibres, diminishing of water content, facial mimic induce the appearance of wrinkles. The older someone is, the deeper are the wrinkles. As a result of ageing, more and more wrinkles are emerging.
Wrinkles on a human face are similar to tree rings: they show the number of elapsed years from birth.
Wrinkle fill up treatment can rejuvenate the appearance.
The most common is to fill the wrinkles between the nose wing and mouth angle, around the eyes and mouth, between the eyebrows, on the forehead.  Other contour deficiencies (pittings) and atrophic scars of the face can also be filled up.
Wrinkle fill up is made with Restylane products; Restylane for medium wrinkles, Restylane Fine Lines: for mild wrinkles, Perlane for deep wrinkles and folds. DERMALIVE-products, providing more durable result may be chosen as well.
Hyaluronic acid wrinkle fill up

The hyaluronic acid is a fully natural substance, what can be found in the human body as well. Likely to the coenzyme Q10, the hyaluronic acid content of the human body decreases with ageing.

Hyaluronic acid is widely used for wrinkle fill up, because it has many advantages compared to synthetic substances.
It can absorb a great quantity of water; therefore filing wrinkles with hyaluronic acid up is a natural procedure.
Nasolabial folds, wrinkles between the eyebrows, around the mouth and on the face can be filled up. Lip augmentation, lip contour enhancement can also be performed by this method.

Lip augmentation

Ageing affects lips as well. Due to the atrophy of connective tissues, the lips become smaller and thinner.
Ageing changes are very obvious on the upper lips. Emerging lines around the mouth affect the lips as well, because vertical wrinkles appear at the meeting of the lips and facial skin.  Lipstick tends to bleed down vertical wrinkles. Lips may vary in size and shape by birth. Even at young age thin upper and lower lips are common-

Facial wrinkle fill up

Facial skin is ageing due to the changes of the body and harmful environmental issues. Excessive sun bathing, solarium, weight loss diets and some diseases along with ageing may intensify wrinkling. All unwrinkling methods can be useful with the appropriate indication. Less strain and risks, minimal possibility of side effects and complications- are the advantages of the wrinkle filling, compared to the unwrinkling surgery.

However surgical wrinkle removal results in a more spectacular outcome, many patients opt for wrinkle fill up, because it is a less invasive procedure, therefore it involves less risks and side effects.

Fear of increased strain, side effects and eventual risks reduces the frequency of surgical wrinkle removals as well. Wrinkle fill up is also used as a supplementary technique to surgeries. For instance, facial surgery doesn’t erase wrinkles over the lips. The outcome of facial surgery can be improved with filling these wrinkles up. Filling the nasolabial folds can help a lot. Wrinkle fill up may delay facial surgery

It is very important to inform the patient that this procedure doesn’t make wrinkles disappear, wrinkles are filled up!
It is impossible to erase the wrinkles without trace. The skin becomes wrinkled due to ageing and to the effect of mimic muscles; generally it cannot be completely smoothed out.
The depth of the wrinkles is a very important factor. The deeper the wrinkles are, the older the person looks. Wrinkles on a human face are similar to tree rings: their number and depth show the number of elapsed years from birth. The tell-tale signs of ageing are faded by filling the wrinkles up; the face will be rejuvenated.
